Lessons
Stonewood Equestrian is pleased to offer riding lessons to all levels of riders. The safety of our students is our top priority. Whether you are a true beginner with no horse experience, or an experienced rider looking for challenging and technical lessons, we have both the coaches and horses available to suit your needs.
We offer lessons in a group setting, semi-private and private lessons.
As required, a prospective student may schedule a paid trial lesson to determine their level and suitable group lesson options. Trial lessons are not mandatory for prospective students to join our lesson program.

Monthly Group Lesson Package
Price per lesson of $75.00 + HST
Monthly Private Lesson Package
Price per lesson:
30 minute private: $90.00 + HST
45 minute private: $110.00 + HST
1 hour private: $135.00 + HST
Monthly Semi-Private Lesson Package
Price per lesson:
30 minute semi-private: $80.00 + HST per lesson per student
45-minute semi-private: $95.00 + HST per lesson per student
1 hour semi-private: $105.00 + HST per lesson per student
* For every transaction paid by credit card a 3% processing fee is added. We also accept e-transfer as a payment method.
Up and Coming Events
Drop-In Lessons
Our drop-in lesson packages are meant to cater to those individuals who want to take lessons but may have unpredictable and irregular schedules and are unable to commit to the same lesson time every week. Students can buy packages of lessons in a variety of quantities and may sign up for drop-in lessons scheduled throughout the week up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
* Packages are valid for six months prior to expiration.
*Packages are purchased for indvidiual riders and are non-transferrable.
*Up-charges are applicable for drop-in lessons that are private or semi-private lessons.

Drop-In Lesson Pricing
Package of 5 lessons: $370.00 + HST
Package of 10 lessons: $700.00 + HST
Package of 15 lessons: $1050.00 + HST
Package of 20 lessons: $1300.00 + HST
In-House Schooling Shows
Students enrolled in the lesson program have a chance to enter an in-house schooling show to compete against their peers and demonstrate the skills learned in their regular lessons.
Students do not require any additional equipment for our in-house schooling shows. It is a casual and fun environment that allows riders to “strut their stuff” for family and friends.
A variety of divisions are available from beginner to our more advanced riders and include two jumping rounds and one flat round judged by an external professional.
A division fee of $75.00 + HST is charged for each schooling show.
Part-Boarding
It is not uncommon for riders to fall in love with specific mounts. Though it is essential for a rider’s development to learn to ride different types of horses, here at Stonewood, we understand a rider’s desire to build a relationship with their favorite horse.
We offer four levels of commitment in our part-boarding program. Please inquire for a full overview of part-board offerings.
